About PolyBelieve
What is PolyBelieve?
PolyBelieve is a decentralized prediction market platform built on Solana, allowing users to trade on the outcome of future events using $POLYB tokens. Our markets cover crypto prices, creator events, and more.
By leveraging Solana's speed and low transaction costs, we offer a seamless trading experience with immediate settlement and transparent on-chain execution.
How it Works
Binary Markets
Each market has two possible outcomes: YES or NO. You can buy shares in either outcome. If your prediction is correct, each share pays out 1 $POLYB. If incorrect, shares are worth 0.
Automated Market Maker
We use a Constant Product Market Maker (CPMM) to facilitate trading. This means the product of YES and NO liquidity remains constant, allowing for continuous trading without order matching.
Fees
Trading incurs a 0.02% (2 basis points) fee, which is distributed to liquidity providers. Creating markets also requires an initial liquidity deposit.
FAQ
What is $POLYB?
$POLYB is the platform token used for trading on PolyBelieve. It's an SPL token on the Solana blockchain that can be acquired through exchanges or directly on our platform.
How are markets resolved?
Markets are resolved by designated resolvers who determine the final outcome based on objective criteria stated in the market description. For some markets, resolution may be automated based on data feeds.
Can I create my own markets?
Yes! Anyone can create prediction markets by providing initial liquidity in $POLYB tokens. Created markets earn 0.02% fees on all trading volume.
Are there any restrictions?
Markets must not violate applicable laws and should have clear, objective resolution criteria. We reserve the right to remove markets that don't comply with our guidelines.
